The Captain’s Raptor returns for 2026 in a brand-new blend: Z Confetti, requested by Paul Ulibarri himself. This year’s run is stable when you need it but features enough glide and forward carry to push distance for stronger arms. You can put power behind it and it won’t fold. You can commit to those extreme hyzer lines and it keeps driving. Pop it on a flex line and it fights back to center before finishing with that signature, reliable fade.
Whether you’re carving a placement forehand, leaning into a controlled backhand, or looking for a skip shot you can count on, the 2026 Captain’s Raptor is built to show up when the shot demands confidence.
The Captain’s Raptor release is a tradition: a yearly drop that celebrates leadership and legacy inside Team Discraft, while giving players a fresh run of a disc they can build a season around. It’s an equal parts performance and collector-worthy release, designed to feel special every year without losing what makes the mold great.
For the first time, we are introducing color into the Z confetti blend. This gives the disc better visibility not only in flight but on the course.
Requested by Paul Ulibarri, Z Confetti brings that premium look collectors chase, and players love to bag. The blend made a big splash in 2025 limited drops—showing up across Victory Edition releases and other event-specific runs—and quickly became one of those “if you see it, grab it” plastics thanks to its eye-catching confetti pop and special-run feel.
This run carries a slight flex that enhances hand feel and improves grip confidence, especially on power throws and touchy release angles. The result is a Captain’s Raptor that still delivers that dependable stability, but feels a little more “locked in” when you’re ripping forehands, leaning into a backhand, or throwing in less-than-perfect conditions.
One of the most consistent traits across Captain’s Raptor runs: it can handle power without flipping. That torque resistance makes it a staple for aggressive forehands and hard, flat releases.

While we do our best to take accurate pictures, the exact color of the disc may differ from how it appears on screen. Stamps may vary if we have duplicates of the same weight and color disc. We list discs by the weight that is stamped or written on the disc by the manufacturer; there may be discrepencies between that weight and what our scale says.
